I am an Associate Professor of Logic at the Institute of Philosophy, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Department of Philosophy, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

My research focuses on modal logic, dynamic logic, and epistemic logic, together with applications of logic to philosophy, games, social networks, theoretical computer science, and AI. At the current stage, I am particularly interested in (1) logics for graph games; (2) logics for dependence and causality; (3) modal approaches towards mereology; (4) new foundations for epistemic logic and uncertainty reasoning; (5) monotonicity reasoning.

I am currently accepting applications from prospective master’s students and am also open to research collaborations. Prospective students and potential collaborators are welcome to contact me by email.

  2. Co-taught “Reasoning in graph games: A modal logic study” with Sujata Ghosh at ESSLLI in Prague.

  3. “A modal approach towards substitutions,” with Yaxin Tu, Sujata Ghosh, and Fenrong Liu, was published in Annals of Pure and Applied Logic.

  4. “On the logic of the hide and seek game,” with Qian Chen, was published in Journal of Logic, Language and Information.

  5. Presented “Cops only need factual knowledge to catch robbers” at KR 2026 in Lisbon.
